COST OF DELIVERY
Furniture shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on volumetric weight, shipment origin, and destination. Additionally, designated flat rate shipping rates apply to certain items based on order value and destination.

In special cases where delivery fluctuations arise due to customer requests or external circumstances beyond our control, additional costs may be incurred and covered by the customer. CUSTOMER'S OWN DELIVERY
If you opt to handle shipment and delivery using your own carrier, please inform Gaia's Roots with specific details. Once the goods are picked up from the manufacturer, all responsibility and liability transfer to you. Keep in mind that any damages during transit and resulting claims will be your direct responsibility. Gaia's Roots will not have control over these occurrences.
You'll find an estimated delivery time on the product page when you purchase a made-to-order item. This timeline is based on the manufacturer's production schedule and is out of our control.
However, due to current global supply chain shortages, circumstances outside our control may cause delays. We constantly update our lead times and logistics to keep you informed and your order on track.
CONFIRMATION OF DELIVERY
You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has been processed and shipped to our shipping partner. It is important to remember that your shipment's lead times will directly correspond to its delivery timeframe.
Our return policy is based solely on our manufacturer's policies, and some handmade items are nonrefundable. Please review the refund policy within each product page's specifications to ensure a hassle-free return process. If you need to make a return, kindly note that clients are responsible for all return expenses, and the product(s) must be returned in the same state as received and with all packaging elements included.
As part of Gaia's Roots delivery policy, we ask that you inspect all delivered items for damage. Should any damage occur during transportation, please report it within 48 hours of delivery. We request that you follow the protocol below to ensure a smooth claim process:
- Take photos of the damaged goods while they are still in their original packaging or during the unpacking process. Our shipping partners require clear evidence of the damage. Please include close-ups of the damage, a full view of the item showing the damage, and any relevant details.
- Keep the damaged goods in their original packaging to prevent further damage.
- Send all photos and observations regarding the exterior and interior packaging conditions and the condition of the goods to firstname.lastname@example.org within the 48-hour time frame.
We will use the information provided to file a claim with our shipping partner. Thank you for your cooperation.
CUSTOMS AND DUTIES
Please note that you may be charged taxes and duties based on the customs policies of your delivery country. It is solely your responsibility to bear these costs as Gaia’s Roots has no control over them.
The total amount you owe is specific to your order. We collect duties and import taxes upfront at checkout, but you may choose to pay them later. However, this is subject to the discretion of the customs agent.
Please be advised that the customs and duties shown at checkout are estimates subject to fluctuations. If there is any change in duty rates, you are entirely responsible for paying the remainder of the costs.

AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS
While rare, errors or changes may occur due to raw material stock outages or high demand for a particular product. If a product is unavailable after an order is placed, we will promptly inform the client and provide the option to replace the order with a different product or issue a refund. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
Experience the natural beauty of our furniture with unique variations in color and tone. Most of Our finishes are applied by hand, giving each piece its own distinct character. Ceramic, wood and natural stones may have variations in color and veining that enhance their appeal. Rest assured that these variations are not considered a breach or unilateral change of the contract or terms and conditions.

In confirmation of the fact that the products ordered are manufactured and free from defects, before packaging, the client is provided with photos of finished products.
Important! Be sure to carefully inspect the goods upon receipt. Claims for damage during transportation are accepted immediately upon inspection. The company is not responsible for the elimination of defects that occurred due to improper conditions of transportation or operation of the products. To receive subsequent compensation from the transport company, it is necessary to report damage no later than 3 working days from the date of delivery.
If the product received by the client has visual defects, such a client has the right to provide a written claim to the Company within the first 48 hours after reception. Photographic evidence supporting the allegation must be sent to order at email@example.com.
Upon confirmation of a defect, Company compromises to replace the defective part/design piece or provide restoration.
The defective part/piece must be received by the Company in its original package before any replacement can be sent - especially in all cases concerning customizing products or new products created to meet contract specifications. Such packages sending from the clients and to the client shall take place on the client’s account.
Every object has a guarantee and product ID with the recommendations of usage. If the client doesn’t stick to the rules of usage, we won’t take the responsibility for the improper usage.
