• When products are imported into the U.S., they are subject to customs clearance, which may include duties and additional import fees. A customs broker typically contacts the recipient directly to facilitate payment, allowing the shipment to be released and continue to its final destination. This standard process applies to all products manufactured outside of the U.S.

• Please be aware that customs duties, local taxes, and additional fees may apply based on your country's regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer, as Gaia’s Roots LLC has no control over them. For questions regarding potential fees, we are happy to consult with our customs agent for clarity.

• Option 1: Direct Payment
  Your customs broker will contact the recipient directly with a payment link for all customs duties and taxes. Once paid, the items will be released and shipped to their final destination.
  

• Option 2: Handled by Gaia’s Roots (U.S. Customs Only)
  We can manage the U.S. customs process for you, acting as your primary point of contact. We'll provide an estimated landing cost and collect these estimated duties at the time of purchase to ensure a seamless clearance process and prevent delivery delays. Please note that if tariffs increase due to external market fluctuations, the recipient will be responsible for any additional fees required for customs clearance.
  

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS (OUTSIDE OF U.S.)

• We ship our products internationally, however, the buyer is responsible for all customs duties, local taxes, and additional fees associated with their country's importation protocols. We do not manage customs clearance processes outside of the U.S.

• Formaminima creations are exclusively made to order, rigorously handcrafted and hand-finished in Italy. Please refer to each product page for manufacturing time and shipping. We team up with the best international couriers in order to keep our promise.

• For accurate shipping costs, please include your shipping address when enquiring about a product.

• All our products shipped internationally are fully insured and require crating.
  
  
  INTERNATIONAL BUYERS (OUTSIDE OF U.S.)

• We ship our products internationally, however, the buyer is responsible for all customs duties, local taxes, and additional fees associated with their country's importation protocols. We do not manage customs clearance processes outside of the U.S.

• International buyers are also responsible for arranging their own white-glove delivery services and acquiring warehouse storage if necessary.

• If you change your mind about your purchase, you can safely return it within 14 days of the item being delivered to you. We do not charge any restocking fees. The return process is straightforward: just contact our team and they will guide and assist you step by step. Once the return process has been explained, you will have to contact the courier to schedule the pickup of the merchandise you are returning.

• Please note that we can not accept returns on products that have been customized especially for you. You can ship the product back in its original packaging, with a courier of your choice. The return shipping and import duties back to Italy (if any) will be sustained by the customer, as well as shipping insurance.

• Once the products reach our warehouse and are confirmed to be in the same state they were initially shipped, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.
