The CUT & FOLD CONSOLE is a triumph of progressive engineering and conceptual minimalism, transforming the structural perception of natural stone. The design philosophy explores a compelling paradox: creating fluid sinuosity and visual lightness from a rigid, monolithic medium. Starting from a single rectangular stone slab, a precise sequence of technical cutting shapes new geometries while keeping the elemental segments structurally linked.
The second phase of the design introduces the illusion of bending a material that is traditionally impossible to fold. The pristine top plane remains parallel to the ground, fluidly transitioning into a dual set of perpendicular legs that extend downward from the primary slab. The result is an architectural statement piece defined by clean, continuous lines and a deceptively light footprint.
