• For international shipments, we use proven freight forwarders such as TNT, DHL or UPS. In order to handle the journey and protect our products from potential damage, we make sure that they are packed sufficiently.
  

• Please note that shipping estimates for large and bulky products are indicative only. For an accurate shipping calculation and additional assistance, please contact info@gaiasroots.shop.

• Joli is not liable for delays or non-fulfillment of obligations due to force majeure events. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, strikes, war, pandemics, transport bottlenecks, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  
  
  
  INTERNATIONAL BUYERS (OUTSIDE OF U.S.)

• We ship our products internationally, however, the buyer is responsible for all customs duties, local taxes, and additional fees associated with their country's importation protocols. We do not manage customs clearance processes outside of the U.S.

• International buyers are also responsible for arranging their own white-glove delivery services and acquiring warehouse storage if necessary.

• When products are imported into the U.S., they are subject to customs clearance, which may include duties and additional import fees. A customs broker typically contacts the recipient directly to facilitate payment, allowing the shipment to be released and continue to its final destination. This standard process applies to all products manufactured outside of the U.S.

• Please be aware that customs duties, local taxes, and additional fees may apply based on your country's regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer, as Gaia’s Roots LLC has no control over them. For questions regarding potential fees, we are happy to consult with our customs agent for clarity.

• Option 1: Direct Payment
  Your customs broker will contact the recipient directly with a payment link for all customs duties and taxes. Once paid, the items will be released and shipped to their final destination.
  

• Option 2: Handled by Gaia’s Roots (U.S. Customs Only)
  We can manage the U.S. customs process for you, acting as your primary point of contact. We'll provide an estimated landing cost and collect these estimated duties at the time of purchase to ensure a seamless clearance process and prevent delivery delays. Please note that if tariffs increase due to external market fluctuations, the recipient will be responsible for any additional fees required for customs clearance.
  

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS (OUTSIDE OF U.S.)

• We ship our products internationally, however, the buyer is responsible for all customs duties, local taxes, and additional fees associated with their country's importation protocols. We do not manage customs clearance processes outside of the U.S.

In the event of manufacturing or material defects, Joli will replace or repair the furniture free of charge for a period of 2 years from the purchase date. Damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance is strictly excluded from this warranty.

• It is not possible to return made-to-order products, that are produced according to your specific choices of material, fabric, wood and color.

• Goods will not be accepted for return unless previously agreed upon in writing. Only unused, undamaged products in their original packaging are eligible for return, strictly within 14 days of delivery. All return transport costs are borne by the buyer, unless the return stems from an officially recognized defect or complaint. Please contact us at: info@gaiasroots.shop.

• After you have received the items you ordered, you may carefully examine and try the items within the period of 14 days, but only in a manner as you would if you examined the products in our store or any other offline reseller. If the items or packing have been used in excess of what is normal in order to examine them, you will be held liable for the decrease in value of the items the use has caused. When we have received the items, we will notify you if there is any loss of value of the product and if your refund will be lower than the price paid.

• If we accept your return order as valid and the product can be re-sold as new, you will be entitled to receive an exchange or a refund, which will not include the expenses on back and forth logistics. The refund will be paid back within 30 days of receiving the notification of your wish to return the order. However the refund will not be paid before we have received the items at our warehouse. 
  

• As part of our delivery policy, we ask that you inspect all delivered items for damage. Should any damage occur during transportation, please report it within 48 hours of delivery. We request that you follow the protocol below to ensure a smooth claim process:

1. Take photos of the damaged goods while they are still in their original packaging or during the unpacking process. Our shipping partners require clear evidence of the damage. Please include close-ups of the damage, a full view of the item showing the damage, and any relevant details.
   
2. Keep the damaged goods in their original packaging to prevent further damage.
   
3. Send all photos and observations regarding the exterior and interior packaging conditions and the condition of the goods to info@gaiasroots.shop within the 48-hour time frame.

• We will use the information provided to file a claim with our shipping partner. Thank you for your cooperation.

• The materials used (including, without limitation: marble, natural stone, onyx, travertine and similar materials) are of natural origin and, as such, are subject to inherent and unavoidable variations in structure, tone, veining, porosity, mineral inclusions, micro-cracks, fillings, cavities and other characteristics deriving from the geological formation of the material.

• The buyer further acknowledges that significant differences may exist between different portions of the same block or quarry, resulting in possible lack of uniformity between slabs used within the same order and in comparison with samples, images or any preliminary reference.
